The Other Fischer

Chess legend Bobby Fischer has died, and the LA Times has a thoughtfully-written overview of his life. It seems like the Cold War just ended, and yet one by one, all the characters who participated in it in their own unique way are dying: Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, Boris Yeltsin and now Bobby Fischer.
