Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made history tonight by placing the name of Gov. Sarah Palin in nomination for the delegations to vote upon. What an honor. This was such a momentous occasion for our party, and it will make history for our nation when she is elected.
Between Kentucky's National Committeeman, Mike Duncan serving as Chair of the RNC, and McConnell leading Senate Republicans, our little state has exerted a significant presence at the Convention.
In terms of fashion, however,Kentucky's presence is understated compared to the Texans (matching hats and denim shirts), the Floridians (inexplicably wearing Hawaiian shirts) and the Michiganders (matching hockey jerseys). Should the Kentucky delegation dress up, or remain low key? Maybe coon skin hats with racing silks?
