The Bushes will address the convention by live feed from the White House tonight. Then Sen. Fred Thompson will give a speech on the courage and service of John McCain. Sen. Joe Lieberman will follow with a speech entitled "Original Maverick: John McCain."
Both senators are among McCain's closest friends and will try to give a sense of what makes him tick.
Rudy Giuliani's speech will be postponed until later in the convention.
