"Brother's Keeper" -- As In, Keep That Anti-Obama Reporter In Jail!

Obama likes to claim that Americans should be their "brother's keeper." The irony is that Obama has done next to nothing for his half-brother who lives in a hut in Kenya on less than $1 a month, according to Suntimes.com.

Today comes word that a reporter who traveled to Kenya to report on Obama's kin has been detained by authorities. The World Net Daily reports:

The government of Kenya is holding WND senior staff reporter Jerome Corsi in custody at immigration headquarters after police picked him up at his hotel just prior to a scheduled news conference in which he planned to announce the findings of his investigation into Barack Obama's connections in the country.

Corsi, the author of the No. 1 best-selling book "The Obama Nation," was picked up by authorities at his hotel at 9:45 a.m. and detained at Nyayo House, the provincial headquarters for Nairobi.

"Just as we were about to start the 10 a.m. press conference at the Grand Regency Hotel in Nairobi, Kenyan immigration approached us and detained us," Corsi told WND by telephone this morning. "Tim Bueler, my publicist, and I are now in the immigration offices, with our passports taken. The immigration officer told the press, 'There is no problem, and Dr. Corsi is a friend of Kenya.'"

Unconfirmed reports say Corsi has been taken by government officials to the airport. He has not been available by phone or e-mail since 9:30 a.m. Eastern.

Sort of bad timing for Obama, what with tonight's debate and all. Maybe a member of the audience will ask him about his Kenyan family. Want to bet on how many uhs that question would elicit from the teleprompterless candidate?

Please note: The postings of "G. Morris", written by John K. Bush and which end in 2016, stated his views as of the dates of posting and should not be understood as current assertions of his views. The postings, which have not been altered since they came to an end, remain on this blog to preserve the historical record. In 2017, Mr. Bush took a position that precludes further public political comments or endorsements. He will no longer be contributing to this blog.

OOOOOOK and this is Obama's fault how? First of all Obama's half brother has been interviewed before. In fact he says that he's proud of his brother and he wants nothing from him. Sounds like a pretty stand up guy to me. Anyways I still don't see how this reporter's legal problems in Kenya are Obama's concern.

OK I still don't see how this is Obama's fault. Obama's half brother had been interviewd before by CNN. He said that he is proud of his half brother and that he wants nothing from him. Sounds like a pretty stand up guy to me. It must run in the family. Anyways I don't see how this reporter's legal troubles in Kenya are of any concern to Obama.
