Bruce Can Produce Ayers's Flick

Unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers is trying to leverage his connection to Barack Obama into a Hollywood film.

Ayers was a member of the Weather Underground, which bombed the Pentagon (among other places) in the 1960s and led to the death of a police officer. These days, he is a Chicago professor and dabbles in politics -- including launching Obama's first run for office.

According to Politico,

Director John Hancock finished writing the screenplay titled "Fugitive Days" over the summer with longtime partner Dorothy Tristan, and his agent has just begun sending it to producers and production companies. Adapted from Ayers' 2001 memoir of the same name, the script has received "nibbles but no bites," said Hancock, who is hoping to direct the film if it is eventually produced.

We don't know if Bruce Lunsford is among those who have "nibbled" on the script. Lunsford, in between running for assorted offices is a genuine Hollywood movie producer. Thus the need for his private jet: it would so embarrassing to fly commercial to Sundance.

First of all William Ayers DID NOT, I repeat DID NOT launch Obama's first run for office. Either you're ignorant about the facts, or you're flat out lying to people. William Ayers held a "meet the canidate" event for Obama when he first ran for State Senate. Obama of course knew nothing of Ayers past at this time. Other than that the two served on the board of a charity together. William Ayers is a refomed member of society, a college professor whot the Federal Government works with on education issues. All of his past illegal activities happened long before Obama even knew him! Unlike G. Gordon Liddy who advocates the killing of Federal Agents and who John McCain calls a good friend and agrees with his philosophy.
